Black Bamboo Orchid (Tie Guan Yin) is a semi-fermented tea made of leaves harvested from high quality tea plants grown in Anxi, Fujian Province, China. The stout, rolled and round tea leaves impart a pronounced aroma and yield a golden infusion that is rich and mellow with a sweet, lingering aftertaste. The tea’s distinct aroma, named after the Goddess of Mercy, stays on even after a few rounds of steeping. It is a great everyday beverage that gives rise to a general sense of well-being.
