Tie Guan Yin is a semi-fermented tea made of leaves harvested from high quality tea plants grown in Anxi, Fujian Province, China. The stout, rolled and round tea leaves impart a pronounced aroma and yield a golden infusion that is rich and mellow with a sweet, lingering aftertaste. The tea’s distinct aroma, named after the Goddess of Mercy, stays on even after a few rounds of steeping. It is a great everyday beverage that gives rise to a general sense of well-being.

Brewing Method
Add 7g of tea leaves to the purple clay, ceramic or porcelain brewing vessel. Pour in approximately 150ml of water with temperature of 85°C – 95°C. Steep for approximately 45 seconds. Serve. Re-steep the leaves in a similar manner to enjoy the tea as it develops from steep to steep; continue re-steeping until the leaves are exhausted of flavor.
