Originally from Yunnan, China. Raw leaves were harvested from the arbor tea trees of broad-leaf species that grown organically in high mountain ancient tea forests. The sun-dried green leaves (maocha) underwent the traditional pile-fermentation process to product ripe puer, which was then steamed and compressed into round tea cakes. These neatly pressed reddish-brown tea cake gives a clear, coppery-red infusion, earthy aged wood aroma with rounded, mellow flavour and sweet after-taste. It is mild in nature and gentle for stomach. Good for multiple brews and ideal for daily consumption.
